University of Georgia

In 2008, the University of Georgia launched the Georgia College Advising Corps (GCAC), in partnership with the Watson-Brown Foundation and College Advising Corps. Thanks to generous commitments from the Robert W. Woodruff Foundation, Zeist Foundation, and East Lake Foundation, among other partners, the program has quadrupled its presence in the state. The program now places 20 advisers in 14 high schools.
