College Advising Corps at Texas Christian University launched its program in 2011-2012 with 16 college advisers. The program expanded to 24 advisers the following year. During the 2019-2020 academic year, the program continued to serve 24 high schools with 24 advisers who work to reach more than 40,000 Greater Fort Worth area high school students through college-going activities. By providing well-trained, enthusiastic advisers in underserved Tarrant County high schools, College Advising Corps at Texas Christian University aims to increase the number of low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented students entering and completing higher education.
