College Advising Corps’ partner high schools across the country have begun celebrating their seniors’ college decisions at special school events called Decision Day.
A college education is the biggest determinant in future economic success for students from a low-income background. Acknowledging this, the First Lady has made Decision Day, also known as Signing Day, a key component of her Reach Higher Initiative. On May 1st, the First Lady took part in Detroit Signing Day, an event attended by advisers and students from five College Advising Corps partner high schools.
