New York University

The New York University College Advising Corps seeks to increase the number of low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented New York City students entering and completing postsecondary education. By placing recent NYU graduates as college advisers in NYC high schools, advisers work full-time with high school students and assist them with planning their college searches, completing college admissions and financial-aid applications, and enrolling in their best fit school. The NYU College Advising Corps currently serves over 5,000 students across 23 high schools in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx.
