Katie George

Once students began hearing about the College Advisor in their school, there was an overwhelming response from students who wanted to come and speak with me. Initially, a lot of the students told me they will never be able to go on to college because they don't feel they are good enough to go onto college. Now with the help of others they are able to realize that they can do whatever they put their mind to and a lot of students have been accepted to their first- or second-choice schools. I have met students that have had many struggles to get where they are today and they are now able to stand on their own and have an outlet to become whoever they want to be in life.

Many students have come into my office almost in tears ready to share with me that they had been accepted into college. Most of them say they haven't even told anyone else yet, because they wanted me to be the first person to know of their success.
